At Cockle Bay
the most southern road in Australia ends on a point. A short walk takes
you to
the statue. The photo of Cockle Bay was taken on the opposing shoreline.
The statue is here because they killed a lot of Southern Rights in the bay.
The whale was called "right" because it was the right sort to kill.
