The two girls on the left were taking 6 weeks to walk the Alpine Track.  Unusual to find young girls hiking, let alone for such a long time.  Taken at Grey Mare Hut, I met a cattleman there who said 10-15 years ago there were only middle aged bushwalkers in the Snowies, now families and 20somethings were prevalent, a good thing.
