Taken from the shore of Isla Victoria, in Lago Nahuel Huapi.
An interesting island, used by the Argentineans, a hundred or so years ago,
to grow in quarantine a selection of trees from foreign countries. The
tour guide said the best tree to grow was the North American softwood
pine tree. I was wandering around and found in amongst a grove of these
trees one gum from Tasmania that grew taller than the others.
